WHO am I?

I’m Kai Schultz, a student at the University of Alabama, double-majoring in News Media and Criminal Justice through the Honors College. I’m passionate about storytelling, sports broadcasting, and using media to connect people through shared experiences.

I served as the Formetco Sports Student Ambassador, where I helped promote innovative scoreboard technology and enhance fan engagement at athletic events. On campus, I’m involved in Kappa Alpha Pi, a pre-law fraternity that’s helped me grow as both a communicator and a leader.

Beyond academics, I have hands-on experience in live sports broadcasting through WoodstockLive.net, where I’ve contributed to coverage of major high school games and events. Whether I’m behind the camera, in front of a microphone, or editing highlights, I’m always focused on delivering clear, impactful stories.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring creative projects in journalism, environmental leadership, and digital media production, all driven by a curiosity to learn, connect, and make an impact through the stories I tell.
